ADMISSION PROCESS INTO THE ADR SOCIETY, UNILAG 2018/2019 SESSION

It’s that time of the year once again!

The ADR Society is set up to house students of the Faculty of Law who are ADR enthusiasts and are ready, willing and able to aid the pursuit of the achievement of the society’s goals and objectives.

Every session, the society admits new members to ensure continuity and to allow more students have access to the advantages and opportunities provided by the ADR society. However, to become a member of the society, students have to undergo an admission process, whereby prospective members of the society have to attain certain parameters or requirements.

Admission of members into the ADR society for the 2018/2019 session commences with the sale of forms on the 27th of February 2019. After which, prospective members would be required to submit an essay, latest by ­22nd of March, 2019. The essay questions would be contained in the forms, which must have been previously purchased.

Furthermore, prospective members would undergo an interview process, which has been scheduled for 22nd March 2019. The executives of the society and other notable members of the society would conduct the interview and prospective members would be accessed based on certain parameters set by the executives.

Subsequently, the prospective member of the society would be admitted if he/she reaches the cut-off mark. The final score is reached by a summation of the essay score and the interview score and successful candidates would be admitted into the ADR society. After results are compiled, an admission list would be pasted on the notice boards in the Faculty of Law.

Finally, kindly note that the stipulations as to the technicalities of the essay on the form and stipulations as to time and deadlines are to be strictly adhered to.
